Location/Office Policy: Central Park, Leopardstown, Dublin 18 (3 days per week in office)

What is the Role:

The Correspondent Banking AML (CB AML) Team supports the management of AML risk across AIB’s global correspondent banking network. This role supports the completion of KYC reviews, analysis of payments and transaction data, and responses to AML‑related queries, under guidance from senior team members.

This is a collaborative role within an experienced AML team, offering strong exposure to correspondent banking, international payments, and AML risk management.

 

 

Key accountabilities:

As part of the Correspondent Banking AML Team, you will:

  • Support the completion of KYC / AML reviews for bank and financial institution counterparties
  • Assist with analysing transaction and payments data and contribute to written assessments
  • Support the management of internal and external AML‑related queries, escalating issues as required
  • Work closely with team members and stakeholders across the Bank
  • Manage assigned tasks effectively, demonstrating reliability and attention to detail

 

 

What you will bring:

 

  • 2 years’ experience in banking, financial services, or a relevant regulatory / compliance environment
  • An interest in KYC / AML and financial crime risk management
  • Strong attention to detail with good written and analytical skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a structured, fast‑paced environment
  • Good communication skills and a willingness to learn and ask questions
  • A collaborative team player with a positive and engaged approach
  • Basic understanding of AML regulation or a willingness to develop this knowledge
  • Third‑level qualification required
  • Competent MS Excel skills (e.g. basic formulas, data handling); advanced skills an advantage
  • Exposure to data tools or reporting (e.g. Power BI, Tableau) is beneficial but not essential
