About the Role:

Your role will be in the Enterprise Architecture & Design Team that designs the enterprise target architecture requirements to enable the Group’s transformation, supporting business leaders make strategic decisions to deliver the strategy and customer outcomes, leveraging digital and data capabilities.

Your role will combine technical & business understanding, working collaboratively across organisation teams to analyse business strategy and customer outcomes and design effective and sustainable future state business and technology models. 

 

Key Responsibilities Include:

 

  • Leading in business requirement gathering sessions to understand and interpret business strategy & customer outcomes, translating these into business & technology blueprints, bringing end-to-end thinking to align business processes, technology, data and people.
  • Developing relationships and engaging with Group stakeholders to document the current state “As Is” and the target “To Be” business processes, operating model, data, customer journeys and technology requirements to support delivery of strategy and customer outcomes. The role will involve challenging the As-Is with pragmatic ‘Blue sky’ thinking.
  • Performing data discovery, analysis and modelling to support design recommendations and use data visualization techniques and tools to present recommendation.
  • Identifying opportunities to use digital, technology & data capabilities to remove business and technology friction, cost and complexity.
  • Acting as a trusted advisor to programmes and tribes and actively manage design and solution issues that may arise through change lifecycle.
  • Working as part of a multi-disciplinary team to design, promote & implement Group transformation.  

 

What you will bring:

 

  1. A motivated self-starter, with a minimum of 8 years’ experience as a Business, IT or Process Analyst or Business Architect, with exposure to different roles.
  2. Third level degree, preferably in a system analysis & design, technology, or engineering discipline.
  3. Relevant architecture qualification an advantage but not essential.
  4. LeanIX experience would be an advantage but not essential.
  5. Broad technical aptitude, with experience breaking down business requirements and working with organisation stakeholders to translate these into technical and business components and capabilities.
  6. Problem solving and analytical thinking to understand issues and recommend solutions.
  7. A proven team player, building trust with colleagues, sharing knowledge, and seeking opportunities for cross functional collaboration.  Experience in leading and coaching staff.
