What is the Role:

AIB Private Banking is a successful and growing business within the AIB Capital Markets division. Private Banking provides specialist expertise and tailored solutions for High-Net-Worth individuals across banking and lending and in strategic partnership with our Goodbody subsidiary for investments, retirement, and succession planning. 

 

We work closely and directly with our clients to protect and grow their assets and to support them with their biggest financing decisions, delivering innovative financial solutions.  The breadth and depth of our services are unique in the Irish market.  We have offices in Dublin, Cork & Galway that deliver for customers across the Republic of Ireland.  

 

The role advertised is for the Relationship Management Team. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting a defined customer segment within Private Banking Team, as well as the wider team in delivering upon our business and customer objectives.

 

Key accountabilities:

  • The relationship management of a book of existing Private Banking clients.
  • Working as part of a team to manage & deliver customers daily banking requests efficiently and ensure that we continue to live up to our ambition of "Making Banking Easy”.
  • Manage incoming customer emails and telephone calls, engaging with customers and other teams to deliver a professional and efficient customer service experience.
  • Enhancing customer experience and make significant progress towards becoming the Best Banking Experience for customers.
  • Managing key compliance, operational and risk tasks.
  • Demonstrating good communication skills.
  • Refer opportunities from the Portfolio as they arise to customer Engagement Team, Lending Team, and Relationship Manager Colleagues.
  • Knowledge of operational and regulatory risk. Ensuring compliance with internal policy, external regulators, and adherence to industry best practice.

 

 

What you Will Bring:

  • Experience embedding AIBs ‘Customer First’ culture, with proven experience in dealing with customers delivering exceptional customer experience.
  • Strong planning and prioritisation skills, particularly under pressure to meet team objectives.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills & works well in a team environment.
  • Must be fully QFA Qualified.
