Location/Office Policy:  Molesworth st., Dublin (Hybrid working – 2 days a week in the office, moving to 3 days in office from Jan 2026)

What is the Role:

 

 

The role reports to the Experimentation and Campaign Effectiveness team within the Chief Customer Office (CCO). It requires a strong understanding of statistical techniques and experimental methods to ensure the success of CCO initiatives (e.g., personalisation, lifecycle, and promotional campaigns). As a Data Scientist, you will: contribute to designing experiments (A/B tests, online and field experiments) to measure campaign performance; deliver pre/post-campaign analysis; and support the development of monitoring tools to track key performance indicators (KPIs).

 

 

Key accountabilities:

 

  • Work closely with the CRM and Data Science teams to design, implement, and analyse experiments (A/B tests, online and field experiments). Provide subject matter expertise on causal inference, especially issues surrounding internal and external validity.
  • Define key performance indicators (KPIs), including ROI, uplift, conversion, and churn metrics and track them through the production and maintenance of dashboards.
  • Contribute to pre/post-campaign analysis with clear commentary and recommendations. Ensure statistical rigor is applied to business recommendations.
  • Extract, transform, and clean the data required for modelling and analysis purposes.
  • Support the team in enhancing the efficiency of data pre-processing, analysis, and reporting (e.g., increased automation).

 

 

What you Will Bring:

 

  • A bachelor’s degree in economics, statistics, mathematics, computer science, physics, or data science. The applicant must demonstrate a good understanding of experimental methods and micro econometrics.
  • 3+ years’ experience in a quantitative analytics role.
  • Advanced level of proficiency in statistical software such as SAS, R, or Python.
  • Familiarity with data visualisation tools such as Power BI, SAS Visual Analytics, QlikView, or Tableau.
  • Strong ability to communicate analytical insights into clear business recommendations for all levels in the organization.
  • Inclination to innovate and proactively keep abreast of the latest techniques. Knowledge of machine learning methods for estimating heterogeneous treatment effects would be a bonus.
