 What You’ll Do 

Group Internal Audit provides independent assurance to the Board and senior management on the effectiveness of governance, risk management and internal controls across AIB. 

As the third line of defence, Internal Audit plays a critical role in helping the organisation operate effectively and deliver positive outcomes for customers, colleagues and stakeholders. 

By helping identify opportunities for improvement, strengthening controls and supporting effective risk management, you'll contribute to the long-term resilience and success of AIB.

 Entry Requirements: 

• Achieved or expected to achieve a minimum 2.1 Honours Degree (or equivalent for universities outside of Ireland) is a prerequisite for those joining the AIB graduate programme. 

• Candidates must be fully authorised to work in Ireland or hold a valid work permit for the full duration of the 3.5 year contract (September 2027 – March 2031)
