As a Sustainability Research Graduate at AIB, you'll work on initiatives that support customers, businesses and communities in responding to some of the most important challenges of our time, including climate change, sustainable finance and environmental transition. 

You'll develop valuable research, analytical and stakeholder management skills while helping AIB deliver on its sustainability ambitions and support the transition to a more sustainable economy.

What You’ll Do 

Sustainability is transforming the banking industry. Understanding how environmental, social and economic trends impact customers, businesses and financial markets helps shape better decisions and supports the transition to a more sustainable future. 

At AIB, sustainability is central to our strategy. Our Sustainability Research team plays an important role in generating insights that help shape business decisions, support customers and embed sustainability into how we operate. 

As a Sustainability Research Graduate, you'll help generate insights that support AIB's sustainability strategy and assist customers in navigating the transition to a more sustainable economy. 

Your work will contribute to initiatives that support responsible banking, sustainable finance and long-term value creation for customers and communities.

Entry Requirements: 

• Achieved or expected to achieve a minimum 2.1 Honours Degree (or equivalent for universities outside of Ireland) is a prerequisite for those joining the AIB graduate programme. 

• Candidates must be fully authorised to work in Ireland or hold a valid work permit for the full duration of the 23-month contract (September 2027 – August 2029).
