Location/Office Policy: Central Park, Dublin 18 - 3 days onsite per week

What is the Role:
We are looking for a self-driven and detail-oriented Payments Fraud Analyst to support fraud decisioning and MI within the payments fraud domain. This role will focus on payment fraud data, reporting, trend analysis, and support for control and rule improvement activity
Key accountabilities;
- Analyse payment fraud and operational datasets to identify trends, risks, anomalies, and performance insights.
- Design and support MI dashboards and reporting for payment fraud performance, decisioning effectiveness, and operational status.
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and alignment with business definitions across payment fraud MI.
- Support fraud use cases such as transaction monitoring, fraud pattern analysis, and root-cause analysis using operational and fraud data
- Assist with the documentation of controls, KPIs, and reporting mechanisms for payments fraud operations.
- Contribute to reporting automation, standardisation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
What you Will Bring:
- 2–4 years’ experience in data analysis, MI reporting, fraud analytics, or operational reporting within banking or financial services.
- Hands-on experience using SQL, large datasets, and Power BI or similar reporting tools.
- Strong ability to simplify complex data into meaningful dashboards and business-friendly reporting.
- Analytical mindset and ability to identify patterns, anomalies, and emerging issues from payment fraud data.
- Good understanding of fraud typologies including payment fraud, account takeover, and mule activity is desirable.
- Ability to operate with initiative, ownership, and strong attention to detail.
