What is the Role:
This role sits within the Compliance and Assurance team and plays a key part in supporting the Bank’s regulatory strategy and conduct risk agenda. The position is well‑suited to someone who enjoys working with a wide range of stakeholders, managing complex queries, and staying ahead of emerging regulatory developments.
As a Regulatory Compliance Analyst, you will work closely with business units to ensure good customer outcomes, strong conduct governance, and adherence to key regulatory requirements. You will contribute actively to the and oversight of compliance, conduct and culture risk, providing updates, insights and challenge on conduct‑related matters. The role also requires maintaining oversight of regulatory change items, analysing their impact, and helping business areas implement compliant solutions.

Key accountabilities;
- Act as a key point of contact for business stakeholders, responding to queries on conduct, consumer protection, MiFID, product governance and other regulatory topics.
- Monitor and assess regulatory change, ensuring the business understands upcoming requirements and how they impact products, services, and operations.
- Participate in and contribute to the Wholesale Conduct Forum, helping identify risks, highlight themes, share insights and support the ongoing enhancement of conduct standards.
- Constructively engage with Treasury, Capital Markets, Wealth Management, Climate Capital and Risk teams to ensure emerging and existing regulations are understood and applied.
- Provide timely, clear and risk‑appropriate advice to business units on conduct and regulatory compliance matters.
- Communicate complex regulatory themes in a practical and accessible way through guidance, policy input, and participation in internal governance.
- Evaluate proposed solutions to regulatory challenges and provide robust, professional recommendations.
- Support and oversee regulatory aspects of business projects, acting as a subject matter expert for the compliance function.
- Take ownership of tasks, manage deadlines effectively, and deliver high‑quality outputs in a fast‑paced environment.
- Promote and embed a strong risk and compliance culture across the organisation.
What you Will Bring ;
- A minimum of 3+ years compliance or regulatory experience within a Financial Services environment as part of a Financial Services/Banking Institution, or in an advisory, law or business consulting capacity. Relevant Professional qualification would be advantageous.
- Have a proven understanding of regulation and regulatory strategy in areas including credit risk, consumer and wholesale conduct regulation MiFID, MAR, EMIR, Client Assets Requirements, PRIIPS, product governance and consumer protection requirements.
- Strong communicator, with excellent commercial acumen in all matter’s compliance management. Highly motivated, with a proven ability to work on own initiative within a challenging and dynamic work environment.
