Role: Senior Fraud MI & Insight Analyst, Dublin

Location/Office Policy:  Central Park, Dublin 18 - onsite 3 days a week

What is the Role:

 

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented professional to join the Fraud Information Management team within AIB. This role will be responsible for delivering high-quality data analysis, business reporting, and stakeholder engagement support to strengthen fraud risk monitoring, reporting accuracy, and decision-making across the business. 

 

The ideal candidate will combine strong analytical capability with excellent communication and coordination skills, enabling them to translate complex Fraud data into actionable business insights while effectively engaging with internal stakeholders across Fraud, Operations, and Business teams 

 

Key accountabilities;

 

  • Identify trends, surface emerging risks, and highlight performance opportunities
  • Manage delivery of PowerBI dashboards across Payment, Cards and other Fraud domains aligned to Fraud Management, BAU Fraud Operations, Customer Centric, Regulatory Reporting and Operation Status dimensions
  • Support Data Tribe in developing the PowerBI dashboards by handing over the data requirements thereby enabling a sustainable MI capability into BAU
  • Drive automation, standardisation, and continuous improvement in MI and reporting processes
  • Contribute to building a sustainable, scalable MI & Insights capability embedded within BAU
  • Support data engineers in defining requirements and shaping the fraud data model and assist in the development and implementation of the fraud data model within the data engineering ecosystem
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including, Fraud Operations / Financial Crime Units, Compliance & Risk, Technology / Engineering, and Product and Data teams

 

 

What you Will Bring:

 

  • 10 years’ experience in Data analytics, MI, or business reporting within Banking or Financial Services 
  • Understanding of fraud typologies (e.g. card fraud, payment fraud, account takeover, mule activity)
  • Hands-on experience using SQL, large datasets and deploying Power BI dashboards
  • Exposure to fraud platforms such as Featurespace, TSYS, or similar detection systems
  • Good understanding of data flows, data models, and system integrations across fraud platforms and source systems
  • Ability to analyse complex problems and define structured, data-driven solutions
  • Experience working in fast-paced delivery environments with multiple dependencies
  • Proactive, detail-oriented approach with focus on quality and completeness of requirements
  • Ability to define data requirements, mappings, and transformation logic for fraud use cases
  • Proven experience in senior stakeholder management across Fraud, Operations and related functions
