Location/Office Policy: Molesworth Street, Dublin 2 (office centric – 3 days per week in the office)

  • Are you interested in the regulatory, legislative, and legal aspects of AIB’s long-term funding?

 

What is the Role:

The team manages and reports on the multiple diverse loan collateral pools underpinning AIB’s term funding and contingency liquidity programmes. These programmes include Covered Bonds, other Asset Backed Securities, the Green and Social Bond portfolios, Significant Risk Transfer, and Securities Financing. Inherent in this activity is the rigorous monitoring, reporting and adherence to multiple regulatory, legislative, contractual, and internal risk obligations.

 

Key accountabilities:

  • Validation and sign-off of monthly reports for internal management, rating agencies, investors and other external parties.
  • Maintain the team’s strong control frameworks to service the funding transactions with adherence to well-documented processes, procedures and working schedules;
  • Managing bond issuance and redemptions;
  • Support periodic project work for use of new loan assets in funding structures. Information analysis for securitisation and covered bond pools and projects aimed at increasing the asset-backed funding available to AIB Group;
  • Work with support areas, including IT and EDW teams, to quickly resolve queries and issues arising from the work;
  • Provide ongoing support to senior management and present to subsidiary Board and ExCo when called upon.

 

What you Will Bring: 

  • Strong Excel skills;
  • Strong knowledge of AIB’s Data Warehouse and Teradata Studio;
  • Ability to build and present reports and an aptitude to notice trends in data and examine root causes;
  • Focus on accuracy/right first time in a strong control framework environment. Appreciation of operational risk and the consequences of errors;
  • Ability to work collaboratively towards shared objectives with a track record of driving deliverables to completion;
  • Experience with internal and external auditors.
