Business Analyst – Office of the UKMD

We’re recruiting now for a Business Analyst.  This is a key role within the Office of the Managing Director at Allied Irish Bank UK p.l.c.

This role offers an excellent platform for someone looking to build their career, gain exposure to how a bank operates at senior levels, and develop strong analytical, reporting and stakeholder‑engagement skills. You will bring creativity, drive and strong communication skills to a role that will give you hands‑on experience across a wide range of activities.

 

What is the Role:

The successful candidate will support the Senior Business Manager in managing information flows for internal and external stakeholders, ensuring deadlines are met and all submissions are accurate, well‑crafted and high‑quality.

You will also support the day‑to‑day requirements of the UKMD by preparing high‑quality MI, supporting key activities, and ensuring information is delivered clearly and effectively across the wider business.

As this role works closely with the UK Senior Management Team, you will play an important part in progressing key actions on behalf of the UKMD. This makes it an ideal opportunity for someone keen to grow their data analytical capability, strengthen their report‑writing skills and gain valuable insight into how decisions are shaped across the UK business.

 

Key accountabilities;

  • Gathering, analysing and interpreting data to identify trends or insights, and presenting findings clearly to support effective decision‑making.
  • Collating MI and conducting research for assigned projects, including preparing papers for internal and external audiences.
  • Preparing and distributing reports and documentation in conjunction with the Senior Business Manager.
  • Managing incoming and outgoing correspondence, ensuring timely responses and follow‑up.
  • Managing assigned actions on behalf of the Office of the UKMD.
  • Completing governance and assurance tasks as required.
