Role:  Business Relationship Manager, Business Banking - Capital Markets, South East

Location:  Hybrid Working in Waterford or Kilkenny

 

What is the Role?

This role is being offered on a permanent basis.

 

  • Do you want to support medium sized SME customers grow in the South East
  • Have you excellent relationship management experience?
  • Do you have a strong track record in dealing with significant credit requests, typically €2M - €15M?

 

Business Banking is a key strategic business unit within AIB Capital Markets delivering a pro-active customer centric operating model. The skills and capabilities within the unit comprise relationship skills, sector, industry and market expertise and centres of excellence focused on strategy, service, value add, efficiency, performance and portfolio management.

Business Banking also leverage off the wider product and service offering within Capital Markets and from across AIB to provide additional value for more enduring and sustainable business relationships and ultimately developing long term Strategic Partnerships with our customers.  

This is an exciting opportunity to support the banks strategy for our Medium sized business customers working towards our vision of Making Business Happen Together.

Our ambition is to be the best Bank in the market at supporting “Mediums” and ultimately to back our customers in achieving their dreams and ambitions.   

A role now exists at Business Relationship Manager in our South East team, to manage and develop a portfolio of customers across a number of industries and will provide the successful candidate with an opportunity to enhance their customer relationship, analytical, credit and negotiation skills.

 

What will you Bring:

  • Own and manage a portfolio of medium sized SME customers across various sectors.
  • Must be QFA qualified
  • Manage all aspects of the customer relationship with strong focus on prudent credit management and generating mutually profitable relationships.
  • Develop the portfolio to support our customers and seek new business opportunities.
  • Be active and visible in the marketplace with regular customer and key stakeholder engagements.
  • Be a positive Team player.
