About the Asset Services and Cash Management Executive Role:

Sitting within the Operations Department of Goodbody, Client Support Services incorporates Middle Office, Account Opening & Maintenance, Pension Administration, and Asset Services functions.

 

It is a dynamic area with a focus on operational excellence, continuous improvement, and staff development, offering strong career progression opportunities within a professional and collaborative environment.

 

Asset Services and Cash Management Executive Accountabilities include:

  • Perform all Asset Services and Cash Management activities in line with established procedures and control frameworks.
  • Ensure adherence to Client Asset Regulations (CAR), maintaining awareness of obligations and escalating any potential breaches promptly.
  • Process and monitor corporate actions, including dividends and voluntary/mandatory events.
  • Manage client and firm cash movements, including funding payments and cash reconciliations.
  • Perform daily cash reconciliations investigating and resolving breaks in a timely manner.
  • Support tax processing requirements. (e.g. Withholding Tax, DWT & Reclaim Processes where applicable)
  • Liaise with custodians, counterparties and internal stakeholders to resolve queries and ensure accurate and timely processing.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure all activities are appropriately documented.
  • Deliver a high-quality service to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Maintain up-to-date procedure manuals for all assigned tasks.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams and external providers.
  • Assist in monitoring service delivery against SLAs and support the logging/escalation of breaches where required.
  • Participate in internal initiatives and projects impacting ASCM.
  • Be responsive and receptive to internal and external change initiatives.
  • Escalation to Team Leader of all relevant matters whilst retaining responsibility for resolutions.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and increased efficiencies.

 

Qualifications and Experience

  • 1–3 years’ experience in Financial Services or Operations would be an advantage.
  • Experience with custody, corporate actions, or cash management systems would be an advantage.
  • Third level qualification would be an advantage.
  • Proficient in Microsoft applications principally Word and Excel.
