About the Business Analyst role
This is an exciting opportunity to work within the Business Change team as a Business Analyst. You will be working as part of a team of problem solvers, who deliver on the change and transformation agenda for Goodbody, collaborating with business stakeholders and working closely with our technical teams.
Business Accountabilities include:
Business Analysis & Project Delivery;
- Acting as a first point of contact for all business queries. This will include fielding and responding to standard day to day business queries.
- Perform data analysis and reporting to assist in the development of business, financial and regulatory reports as well as general data analysis to support change and Management reporting.
- Support the day-to-day management and communication with Goodbody’s key outsourced providers.
- Consult closely with business users to capture their requirements, understand their work and communicate any technical constraints to them with a view to optimizing the effectiveness of implementations.
- Acting as an interface between business units, technology teams and support teams creating deliverables including Process Maps, Business Requirements, Functional Requirements and User Acceptance Tests.
- Driving and executing small and mid-sized change projects (including requirements gathering, solution design, solution execution, testing, implementation and training – and producing documentation related to each step).
- Provide support for large change initiatives.
- Ensure compliance is maintained with internal procedures.
- Develop best practices and tools for business analysis, change management and project execution.
Qualifications and Experience
- Good foundation in Financial Services
- Experience of using SQL and the MS Office suite.
- Excellent attention to detail and a willingness to engage at a detailed level.
- Excellent communication skills (both verbal & written) with ability to build effective relationships with business and technical teams.
