About the Compliance Assistant Manager, Assurance role

We have an exciting opportunity to join our Compliance team for someone who is looking to further develop their career in Compliance. The role provides assurance to our stakeholders on compliance across Goodbody’s activities. The successful candidate is required to advise, challenge and collaborate with business units to mitigate regulatory risks and promote compliance best practices.

Compliance Assistant Manager, Assurance Accountabilities include:

• Supports the creation, planning and execution of the compliance assurance programme deliverables including root cause analysis of key themes and trends
• Supports the delivery of team’s work on time, within agreed budget, in accordance with agreed quality standards. 
• Reviews the work of the compliance team through the centralised reporting to key governance 
• Supports the delivery of compliance reports which clearly highlight where action is required. Uses influencing and communication skills to confirm that points raised are clear and concise; 
• Review, develop and enhance compliance assurance procedures to reflect current regulations
• To oversee the completion of periodic reporting/submissions. 
• Promote a strong compliance culture

Qualifications and Experience

• Proven experience in Compliance, Risk or Audit 
• Minimum of 4-6 years’ experience in Risk, Compliance, Audit
• Third level qualification in a business/legal related area is required
• Knowledge of the Regulatory environment in which the firm operates.
