About the FC Compliance Manager role

We have an exciting opportunity to join our Compliance team for someone who is looking to further develop their career in FC Compliance. This role falls within the category of CF2 under the Central Bank of Ireland’s Fitness and Probity rules, reporting directly to the Head of FC Compliance and MLRO.  The successful candidate is required to operate as a FC Compliance manager, providing a range of regulatory compliance services, directly or through a team, by evaluating complex issues and providing expert advice to support the business in ensuring compliance with applicable requirements.

 

FC Compliance Manager Accountabilities include:

  • Supports the MLRO in the delivery of the FC Compliance Programme and collaborates with a wider Compliance function to participate in the delivery of the Compliance Plan.
  • Manages the delivery of the AML Compliance activities within defined metrics and budget and ensures all assigned activities are delivered in accordance with methodology and defined standards.
  • Provides FC Compliance oversight across the Firm, supports the business when they encounter problems and provides advice and oversight in putting things right in a timely and reasonable manner.
  • Supports regulatory engagement and provision of regular reporting to senior management and relevant senior committees and fora.
  • Manages the team effectively by building a culture of trust, clear communication, and accountability, alongside setting, tracking, and achieving shared goals.

 

 

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Minimum of 4-6 years’ experience working in 2LOD Financial Crime Compliance manager role in regulated financial services.
  • Expertise in managing compliance workflows including regulatory reporting, regulatory correspondence, compliance monitoring, horizon scanning, development and implementation of compliance frameworks.
  • Experience in outsourcing/outsource service provider (OSP) oversight.
  • Able to explain complex regulatory/scheme features in an easy-to-understand manner to stakeholders without such background.
  • Expertise identifying, mitigating and monitoring compliance risks.
  • Third level qualification in a business/legal related area is desirable.
  • ACOI qualification (or relevant equivalent) advantageous.
  • Knowledge of the Financial Crime Regulatory environment in which the firm operates is essential.

  • Ability to work under pressure and prioritise workload.
