About the Project Manager role
This is an exciting opportunity to work within the Business Change team and to build, develop, and grow
business relationships while working on projects across the business.
Project Manager Accountabilities include:
- Direct and manage project and change items throughout the Change lifecycle.
- Define project scope, goals and deliverables that support business strategy in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
- Develop full-scale project plans and associated communications documents.
- Create and maintain documentation including project plans, scope documents, business cases, RAID logs, status reports, project closure report and benefits realisation report.
- Proactive identification and management of project risks, ensuring that the appropriate measures are taken to ensure that all stakeholders have an appropriate appreciation of the key risks and that the required steps to mitigate these risks are completed.
- Working through the PMO ensure that project management methodologies & project delivery processes are followed across the change lifecycle.
- Set and continually manage project expectations with team members and other stakeholders. Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path.
- Consult closely with business users to capture their requirements, understand their work and communicate any technical constraints to them with a view to optimizing the effectiveness of implementations.
- Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential issues and roadblocks, devise contingency plans, ensuring that appropriate change control and escalations are raised in a timely fashion.
- Coach, mentor, motivate and supervise project team members and contractors, and influence them to take positive action and accountability for their assigned work. Ensure compliance is maintained with internal procedures.
Qualifications and Experience
- At least 3 + years in a Project Management role.
- The successful candidate should have relevant third level qualifications.
- Experience and track record of successful project delivery utilising multiple project management methodologies, frameworks, tools and techniques.

- A technical knowledge and understanding of IT platforms as they relate to the Financial Services Industry.

- Understanding customer needs and applying a client-oriented focus with a strong emphasis on quality and efficiency.
- Experience in managing deadlines, coordinating activities, escalating risk.
