About the Senior Wealth Executive – Team Leader role
We have an exciting leadership opportunity for an experienced Wealth Manager ready to shape the future of Ireland’s fastest-growing wealth segment. As Senior Wealth Executive – Team Leader, you will lead a high-performing team within Goodbody Personal, our dedicate Wealth Management team focused on emerging wealth and mass affluent clients. This is a permanent, client-facing role combining leadership, strategic growth, and governance accountability.
You will report directly to the Head of Goodbody Personal and play a pivotal role in driving scalable growth, leveraging digital innovation, and delivering exceptional client outcomes.
About the Senior Executive Role
Leadership & Team Development
- Play a pivotal role in the Goodbody Personal leadership team, shaping the strategic direction of the team, driving initiatives that enhance team performance and client outcomes
- Manage and mentor a team of 6–8 Senior Wealth Executives and Wealth Executives
- Lead performance through coaching, mentoring, performance appraisal and supporting individual development plans
- Foster an inclusive, collaborative team culture aligned with diversity goals
Commercial Growth
- Deliver a financial planning led offering that focuses on building long-term client relationships
- Manage and develop client book of 100–150 clients
- Develop and execute growth strategies to deliver ambitious revenue and asset targets.
- Originate new business through referrals, strategic partnerships, and digital campaigns.
- Contribute to product innovation and commercial offering evolution.
Regulated Advice & Governance
- Provide compliant advice in accordance with CPC and MiFID II standards
- Ensure robust record-keeping, complaint management, and adherence to training
- Work closely with 1LOD and 2LOD Risk and Compliance teams to identify, assess, and manage regulatory and operational risks within the team
Strategic Enablement
- Lead your team through a cutting-edge digital transformation program, leveraging data-driven insights to redefine client engagement.
- Champion innovation and scalable solutions to enhance client experience.
Qualifications and Experience
- A minimum of 10 years’ experience in Financial Services with a proven track record in wealth management and regulated advice.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Demonstrated business development skills and sales acumen
- In-depth knowledge of financial products and investment markets
- QFA, CFP or hold the Registered Representative Examination/Certificate in Stockbroking
