We are looking for and IT Audit Manager.  The role offers excellent career progression and promotion opportunities. The ideal candidate would have the following:

  • At least 7 years working as an IT Auditor or alternatively 7 years working within the IT industry.    
  • A third level IT qualification.
  • Hold a professional IT audit qualification or have a willingness to undertake one. This will be fully supported by the organisation.
  • Be a self-starter who can either work independently or as part of a team
  • Ability to work to deadlines and remain calm under pressure.
  • Have a lot of initiative and excellent attention to detail.
  • Have good communication skills. 


The job role will involve the following:

  • Undertake risk based audit work through a high performing and technically skilled team;
  • Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of Internal Audit’s methodology standards, processes and AIB organisational structure;
  • Co-ordinate & deliver quality audit reports containing recommendations which have been agreed with management ensuring that the recommendations are realistic and achievable and cost effective and add value to the business;
  • Provide an independent evaluation and opinion on the control environment and management awareness rating;
  • Monitor, on a risk basis, the resolution of agreed management actions with the business areas within agreed timetables;
  • Communicate effectively with senior management across the organisation by positively conveying the role and value of internal audit;


The department currently consists of over 70 audit professionals operating in the Ireland and the UK. The function operates independently as the third line of defence to provide assurance to the Board Audit Committee on the adequacy and effectiveness of the internal control environment. The department promotes a dynamic work environment, staff empowerment and fully supports flexible working arrangements.
