Summary of Role: 

The Head of Risk Change Portfolio Management is a new role within the Risk Operations and Delivery team and this candidate will have direct responsibility for managing a number of Regulatory Projects to successful completion.  The overall Risk Investment Plan for 2019 is circa €60m and this person will play a key role in the delivery of this plan. 

 

This candidate will also have responsibility for managing a number of Regulatory commitments including RMPs to successful completion. 

 

We are looking for someone who can:

  • Assist in the preparation of demand and capacity of Risk staff required to deliver Risk sponsored change programmes. 
  • Assist in the preparation of demand and capacity required to support bank wide programmes. 
  • Assist in monitoring the delivery of a number of regulatory commitments and RMPs. 
  • Assist in the delivery the Risk regulatory change agenda.
  • Assist in the preparation and monitoring of the investment plan for Risk and ensuring that budgets and plans are appropriate to deliver on the change agenda.
  • Assist in the monitoring of upcoming regulation.
  • Produce clear, balanced and objective draft reports on a timely basis to the Risk Change Portfolio Manager.
  • Assist in drafting and agreeing actions and timelines with the business areas.

You will need to show us you have:

  • 3 plus years of banking experience and a 3rd level qualification in a relevant area is a distinct advantage
  • Clear and concise oral and written communication skills.
  • A good understanding of AIB processes, core systems, business activities and key products, and in particular the regulatory environment in which we operate.
  • Proven ability to deliver results to tight and competing deadlines.
  • Good organisational skills, with ability to prioritise, multi-task, and meet deadlines while working in a high pressure environment.
  • Ability to work across teams, demonstrating strong interpersonal skills, a proven ability to build relationships and manage business engagement.
