Location: Heuston South Quarter, Dublin 8

This role is being offered on a 23 month contract basis.


We’re looking for someone who:

Is a strong team player with a focus on delivering a first class customer service to both hiring managers and candidates. You are passionate about recruitment and you have strong experience in managing large volume recruitment projects. You have the experience, background and skills to help us continue driving growth and excellence across the organisation through the hiring of world-class talent.

Within HR, the Talent Acquisition Team has responsibility for supporting the Bank in all internal and external hiring processes.  The team actively partner with People Leaders in the business to understand their talent requirements. The team are responsible for the attraction of candidates, at all levels, across AIB in ROI & UK.


Your challenge

  • Responsible for driving an excellent hiring manager and candidate experience so that AIB ranks among the best recruitment experiences in Ireland.
  • Be responsible for the planning, organisation and delivery of a large scale recruitment drives and campaigns with multiple stakeholders.
  • Promote an open and engaging environment where the team can perform at their best and provide administrative support to the wider recruitment team as required.
  • To ensure accurate interview and assessment records are maintained for audit purposes.
  • First point of contact for candidate and hiring manager queries.
  • Develop positive and professional working relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.

You will need to show us that you can/have:

  • Evidence of excellent customer relationship skills, ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels within the company and represent the Talent Acquisition Team with expertise and commercial awareness.
  • Experience of working in a fast paced business environment, dealing with high volume campaigns.
  • 2+ years in-house or agency recruitment experience.
  • Proven track record of hiring for high volume projects.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Experience in using an Applicant Tracking System.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • An ability to work on own initiative and interact as part of highly motivated team
  • An ability to work in a challenging, competitive and customer focused environment.  
  • An ability to prioritise and plan to effectively achieve goals and to be dependable in consistently delivering reliable results


Please note: The Minimum Education requirements for entry to AIB is 5 passes in the Leaving Certificate (or equivalent), to include a pass in English and Maths. These must be achieved at either Ordinary or Honours Level. Confirmation of this will be sought if successful for the role.
