About the Role –Wealth Consultant, Goodbody Private

As a Wealth Consultant based in Galway, you will play a pivotal role in managing and growing relationships with high-net-worth clients and driving new business development in that area and surrounding region. You will work closely with colleagues across Goodbody to deliver exceptional wealth management services tailored to client needs. You would also be required to attend our Team Meeting once a month in Dublin or as required.

You will report to the Head of Goodbody Private and play a pivotal role in driving scalable growth and delivering exceptional client outcomes. This is a permanent role.

Wealth Consultant Business Accountabilities include:

A client facing executive responsible for the management of the investment and planning needs of AIB originated clients
Responsible for building and fostering key relationships with AIB Private Banking relationship managers and staff on client propositions and investment and planning related matters
Responsible for supporting the AIB relationship managers and AIB network with Goodbody originated content which will include organising, attending and participating in staff and client events both in person and online
Responsible for interacting with AIB on lending related cases
Work closely with the Goodbody Central Investment Team to ensure that client accounts are managed in line with client's mandate, objectives, risk profile and timeline
Responsible for managing all aspects of the service and support of client related requests originating from AIB clients
Responsible for delivering meeting packs, investment updates, attend client meetings and participate in annual client strategic reviews

Qualifications & Experience

A minimum of 8 years’ experience in Financial Services

A proven track record in the delivery of demanding business development targets in a safe, well-assured and compliant way, where client interests are always prioritised
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
Demonstrated business development skills and sales acumen
In-depth knowledge of financial products and investment markets

What is the Role:

The Networks, Platforms & Connectivity Services Lead is a senior leadership role within the Enterprise Delivery (COO) organisation, forming an integral part of the Technology Platforms & Architecture leadership team and reporting directly to the Head of Technology Platforms & Architecture
The successful candidate will have accountability for the definition, evolution and implementation of the organisation's Network and Connectivity Strategy. This strategy underpins the delivery of critical national financial infrastructure and enables the secure, resilient and performant movement of data across customer channels, core banking services, payments platforms, cloud environments, data centres, third-party ecosystems and regulatory services.
The role holder will be accountable for the strategic relationship, governance and performance of the organisation's key Managed Network Service Provider, ensuring the delivery of industry-leading operational resilience, security, service availability and innovation. Key Accountabilities:

Hold accountability for shaping, driving and implementing the Network and Connectivity Strategy, ensuring the continued evolution of highly resilient, secure and scalable network services supporting critical national infrastructure.

Lead the evolution of AI-driven Network Operations (AIOps), incorporating predictive analytics, anomaly detection, event correlation, automated remediation and operational insights to improve service resilience and reduce customer impact.
Ensure network platforms meet evolving regulatory, cyber security and operational resilience requirements, including critical service recovery objectives, resilience testing and cyber recovery capabilities.
Drive engineering excellence across the technology organisation by establishing modern network engineering practices, standards, guardrails and platform capabilities that enable secure and consistent delivery at scale.
Be accountable for the design authority and lifecycle management of network infrastructure, ensuring technology currency, sustainable investment strategies and alignment to enterprise architecture principles.

What you Will Bring:

Excellent knowledge of network engineering, telecommunications and infrastructure services gained over a minimum of 10 years' experience, including significant experience within regulated financial services or critical infrastructure environments.
A minimum of 5 years operating at senior leadership level with experience leading large-scale technical teams, strategic partners and complex transformation programmes.
Demonstrated experience establishing and governing managed service provider relationships, including commercial oversight, service performance management, contractual governance and strategic vendor engagement.

This role is positioned within the IRB Model Development Team as a Senior Quantitative Risk Analyst.

In Risk Analytics, we develop and support the deployment of risk models, strategies and decision tools for regulatory capital, internal capital and business decision making.

Risk Analytics is part of the Risk Function, this is an independent, second line of defence function that monitors, controls, and supports risk-taking activities across AIB. The purpose of the Risk Function is to provide advice and guidance in relation to risk while providing independent oversight and reporting on AIB’s risk profile. Key accountabilities.

Analysis & investigation: Undertake and guide junior analysts in various complex data analyses, investigations and/or modelling of business issues to improve the management, services, and products of the bank.
Predictive model development: Take a leading role in building predictive models that are focussed on core business elements, such as automated decisioning, capital requirements and loss expectations.
Data insights: Perform and guide junior analysts in exploratory and ad-hoc data analysis with a view to generating insights and using this to deliver actionable recommendations to the Business.
Risk segmentation analysis: Creating segmentations that allow us to better understand the risks present in our lending portfolio and what we can do to better manage the risks.

What you Will Bring;

Minimum 3 years’ experience in a model monitoring, model development or model validation role. Examples include IRB; IFRS 9; loss forecasting; stress testing or economic capital modelling; propensity modelling; or a combination thereof.
A bachelor’s degree in a quantitative analytical discipline (2.1 or higher), e.g., mathematics, applied mathematics, physics, statistics, engineering, econometrics. (Confirmation will be sought if successful for the role.).
Ideally have advanced level of SAS or SQL programming – an equivalent level in an alternate programming language would be consider (e.g., R, Python, Matlab). Advanced experience in extracting, transforming, and cleaning data for modelling purposes.
Experience writing technical documents that meet internal and regulatory standards. Experience in engagement with regulatory or audit bodies;

What you Will Bring ;

Relevant 3rd level qualification with 3+ years' experience within a similar area (preferably Project Finance or Specialised Lending) which could include Banking, Advisory or Industry. A professional qualification (e.g. ACA, ACCA, CIMA or CFA), or progress towards one, would be an advantage
Strong Financial Analysis, Strong credit skills and Proficiency in financial modelling

Graduates on this programme are given the opportunity to attend online courses in UCD to supplement on the job learning . The programme assessment is project based enabling you to demonstrate your understanding and familiarity of each semester’s content in a work themed, practical way. What is the Role:

Retail Banking is a dynamic and diverse place to work within AIB. The General Insurance team is a specialist business within the Wealth and Insurance pillar, managing insurance propositions and overseeing services for our personal customers. As part of the Insurance Sales Delivery team, you will own and coordinate activity across customer communications, digital journeys, campaigns, product and business change. Working with colleagues across AIB and our insurance partners, you will help deliver strong customer, commercial and operational outcomes across Home and Travel Insurance and the wider General Insurance portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan, coordinate and deliver customer and sales campaigns across Home and Travel Insurance, working with marketing, channel and provider partners.
Own and maintain General Insurance website content, online customer journeys and customer alerts, ensuring accuracy, accessibility and timely implementation of changes.
Develop and maintain internal communications, sales support guides, procedures and other materials that enable frontline colleagues to support customers effectively.

What You Will Bring:

What is the Role

Group Compliance is an independent, second line of defence function established within the Risk function. An opportunity now exists for a Financial Prudential Advisory Lead which will be a leadership role working within the Prudential Advisory team, which sits within Regulatory Compliance.

The Prudential Advisory team are responsible for providing guidance on both financial and non-financial prudential regulations. This role will primarily focus on the financial aspect of the team, and your stakeholders will include but not limited to the 1LOD and 2LOD teams within: Capital, Liquidity, Recovery & Resolution, Regulatory Reporting, Credit, Accounting Standards (IFRS 9), Modelling, AI, Data, Operational and Cyber Resilience.

This individual will lead and manage a team of compliance professionals, who will carry out the process of independent review of policies, gap analyses and product propositions against prudential regulations. They will also engage in interpretation of/advisory on regulatory requirements and be expected to maintain an extensive knowledge of the prudential regulatory landscape.

The ideal candidate will be a confident and professional team player. They should be comfortable in engaging with senior stakeholders across the Bank, in building relationships and partnerships, and providing advice and challenge where needed.

Key accountabilities

Manage the delivery and development of a comprehensive proactive, independent second line regulatory compliance plan across the Group through the development and implementation of a robust regulatory compliance risk assessment process
Undertake a risk based advisory role that effectively challenges senior management / business leaders and influences strategic decisions. Such work must use external reference points, technical understanding, and substantive insights to ensure that business activities operate within defined compliance risk appetites and compliance controls are operating effectively.
Form an opinion on the effectiveness of the prudential regulatory control environment, risk appetite and horizon, while influencing senior management in managing the compliance risks effecting their business area.
Contribute to the overall strategic direction of Compliance as part of the Compliance Senior Management Team.
Reporting and presenting independent second line view at relevant Fora, Risk and Board committees.
Provide relevant, consistent, and timely risk appropriate advice and support to the business.
Instil ownership of regulatory compliance risk within the first line Business Areas through targeted training and awareness initiatives.

Senior Leadership Responsibilities

What you will Bring

At least 8 years’ experience in a financial services environment, ideally in Compliance, Risk, Audit, Regulatory Affairs or a supervisory/regulatory authority role.
Strong experience leading and developing teams of compliance or regulatory specialists.
Demonstrable expertise in prudential regulations and accounting standards, including the ability to interpret, advise, challenge and translate regulatory requirements for senior audiences.
Proven capability in managing regulatory change, policy development, RCSAs, and overseeing risk/control frameworks.
A strong understanding of banking products, business models and strategy, and experience engaging with senior stakeholders internally and externally and regulators.
