Products, Retail has responsibility for our four core Product sets which include: Mortgage, Credit, Current & Deposit, and Payments & Cards. Products have a Group-wide remit and is a key enabler of customer centric propositions and the delivery of the bank’s Regulatory, Sustainment and Strategic agenda.

A vacancy now exists for a L2 Business Analyst role on the Payment & Cards Change team.
This role presents an exciting and challenging opportunity to join the Payments & Cards Product Management team, working closely with colleagues across AIB ROI, AIB UK and EBS including Legal, Risk, COO, CTO and Retail to deliver robust Customer First solutions and implement strategic change initiatives, in an agile environment to support our Personal and Business Customers across all brands.
Key accountabilities:
- Can deliver agreed prioritised change initiatives on the Cards Change Roadmap which span multiple internal and external systems and collaborating with a wide number of stakeholder communities. This may mean working on solo initiatives or alternatively driving/working as part of a team depending on the scale of the change involved in an agile environment.
- Can work as part of a team to ensure that all queries are resolved in an efficient and customer focused manner.
- Can work as part of a team, demonstrating a strong ability to collaborate and work through complex issues to find suitable customer focussed solutions
- Can demonstrate the ability to support Business Analyst (BA) functions across several projects running in parallel and within this where required coach and lead other team members in the BA function.
- Takes a proactive role in the analysis of business requirements and problems, identifying available options for consideration together with a recommended course of action and document to the required standards, methods and tools.
- Has strong communications skills, the ability to work with diverse teams and listen to and respect the views of colleagues, ensuring relevant stakeholders are kept informed when working through the design of solutions for initiatives
- You will work in collaboration with other Project stakeholders on transformational & compliance changes to ensure a quality delivery with a particular focus on the test cycle of the project
- This role is part of the Fitness & Probity Regime and Individual Accountability Framework, which set out the specific requirements applicable.
What you will bring:
- 3+ years’ experience in a Business Analyst Role with experience gained in the area of transaction banking.
- Relevant professional qualification would be advantageous.
- Relevant cards products and processing knowledge desirable
- Evidence of excellent relationship management skills, ability to engage with internal and external stakeholders at all levels in order to support & deliver change projects
- Experience of working in a fast-paced business environment
- Experience in problem solving and change management across multiple functional areas with the ability to drive decision making.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to influence and negotiate effectively.
- Test expertise with experience in formulating & executing the Business Acceptance Testing strategy
