What is the Role:

 

The Campaign Effectiveness Manager plays a key role in ensuring the success of customer base management initiatives by evaluating, optimising, and communicating the impact of direct marketing campaigns. This individual will function as the bridge between customer base management, analytics, and commercial teams—delivering actionable insights to drive retention, cross-sell, upsell, and customer loyalty across the existing customer base.

 

Key accountabilities:

 

    • Develop and maintain robust measurement frameworks to evaluate performance of CRM, lifecycle, and promotional campaigns.
    • Own and deliver post-campaign analysis and performance dashboards with clear commentary and recommendations.
    • Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs), including ROI, uplift, conversion, and churn metrics.
    • Design and implement A/B and multivariate testing strategies.
    • Work closely with the CRM and Data Science teams to design statistically valid experiments.
    • Share test results and insights to continuously inform targeting, messaging, and channel strategies.
    • Identify performance drivers, customer behaviours, and areas of opportunity using data-driven insights.
    • Partner with campaign managers to improve segmentation, personalisation, and channel effectiveness.
    • Lead the creation of campaign scorecards and quarterly performance reviews.
    • Function as a subject matter expert on campaign performance and effectiveness.
    • Work closely with the Data, Digital, Product, and Marketing teams to ensure alignment on measurement approaches and business priorities.
    • Present insights and recommendations clearly to senior stakeholders and influence strategic decisions.

 

What you Will Bring:

 

  •  Proven experience in a CRM, Marketing Analytics, or Customer Strategy role.
  • Strong analytical skills with direct experience in campaign reporting and evaluation.
  • Experience with data tools such as SQL, Tableau, Power BI, or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of A/B testing, experiment design, and statistical significance.
  • Commercially savvy with ability to translate data into actionable business recommendations.
  • Excellent communication and storytelling skills, both written and verbal.
  • Experience in telco, utilities, financial services, or other subscription-based industries.
  • Familiarity with campaign management platforms (e.g. Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Adobe Campaign).
  • Understanding of customer lifecycle strategies and loyalty marketing.
