What is the Role:

 

An opportunity now exists to join the Individual Accountability Oversight (IAO) team, within the HR Group Accountability and Performance. As a member of the team you will support the development, implementation and oversight of Fitness & Probity Regime and the Individual Accountability Framework (IAF).

 

The role holder will be accountable for supporting the team in ensuring ongoing compliance with the Regulatory Accountability Policy within HR and managing the robust processes to ensure Fitness and Probity requirements are kept up to date and accurate, whilst engaging with business areas to ensure understanding of the regulatory requirements.   

 

The role will also involve extensive stakeholder engagement with 1st line business areas across the Group to ensure their ongoing adherence with the IAF regulations, along with engagement with 2nd & 3rd line as required

 

Key accountabilities;

 

Maintaining HR centralised Fitness & Probity lifecycle activities, including:

 

  • Additional Due Diligence for proposed PCF/CF1/CF2 candidates.
  • Ongoing Due Diligence for PCF/CF1 & CF2 role holders.
  • Support the PCF application and resignation process.
  • Ensure the F&P certification process is completed in line with regulatory requirements for all Control Function impacted staff
  • Deliver Fitness & Probity and Minimum Competency Code training to embed regulations and policies.
  • Supporting the Business in understanding IAF and helping them with any queries they may have.
  • Supporting extensive stakeholder engagement across the Group to ensure business owners have appropriate processes and controls in place to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements
  • Develop a deep knowledge and understanding of Fitness and Probity, Minimum Competency Code, IAF, organisation design and business practises across the Group.
  • Support oversight and maintenance of SEAR related artefacts/processes, including Management Responsibility Maps, Statements of Responsibilities and Reasonable Steps.

 

 

What you Will Bring ;

 

  • An interest in, and knowledge of, regulatory requirements for Individual Accountability Framework (IAF)
  • Minimum one years experience working within financial services, ideally within 1st or 2nd Line risk assurance areas 
  • Strong team player who is engaged and enthusiastic, with the ability to work on their own initiative.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication with good interpersonal skills to engage with numerous stakeholders across the Group.
  • Results driven individual with ability to manage competing priorities and to deliver against tight deadlines.
  • Exceptionally strong attention to detail
