  • Responsibility for managing all aspects of cost and workforce oversight and reporting for the Risk function.

 

  • The role will be responsible for building strong relationships with internal stakeholders including Finance and HR business partners.

 

 

 

What is the Role:

 

The Risk Planning & Performance team have responsibility for all aspects of operational oversight for the Risk function; including tracking the annual Risk OpEx budget, the production of a monthly CRO MI Dashboard and workforce planning; risk management and internal control testing; third party management including sourcing and ongoing relationship management; and operational governance requirements, ensuring effective running of the Risk function.

 

The Risk Planning & Performance Manager is a critical role in the Risk Planning, Performance & Operations team reporting directly to the Head of Planning, Performance & Operations. The role is responsible for the effective management of all aspects of financial and capacity management on behalf of the Risk function. The role is crucial to ensuring focus on maximising value for the department.

 

 

Key accountabilities;

 

  • Be accountable for managing the financial planning process across the Risk function.
  • Analyse and report on performance against Budgets, Forecasts and resourcing - leading to insight and action development.
  • Own and manage relationships with key stakeholders in delivery of the Risk budget and to present to the Chief Risk Officer and senior stakeholders as required.
  • Manage annual and ongoing workforce planning and capacity review activities to ensure alignment of top down and bottom up plans.
  • Accountable for the production of high quality CRO MI deck reporting on key business and performance metrics to Risk SMT.
  • Lead a team of professionals setting standards and driving consistency

 

 

 

What you Will Bring ;

 

  • Third level degree/ professional qualification in Accounting/Finance, or similar desired with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in banking / finance.
  • Experience in financial analysis and finance operations within the Group.
  • Ability to engage with and influence senior stakeholder groups.
  • Strong verbal and written communication with good attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Knowledge of SAP system and QlikView and the ability to use the systems to view and assess data
