Our Climate Capital segment is central to the delivery of these ambitious targets, investing in large scale renewables and infrastructure projects across Ireland, the UK, Europe and North America. This is the fastest growing area of the bank’s loan book.

This is a unique opportunity for experienced individuals to join this high performing, ambitious team, as we build out our international platform and directly contribute to global climate action goals.

You will be required to support best in class performance reporting and risk management across Climate Capital’s growing portfolio.

Key accountabilities;

• Provision of portfolio information, analysis and insights to senior management team and other stakeholders. Convert data into management information and insight.
• Support asset quality reporting and monitoring of credit indicators for the portfolio
• Support Climate Capital planning, ensuring that accurate and timely forecasts are prepared to facilitate strategic planning.
• Actively seek to eliminate complexity, proactively identifying opportunities for process improvement.
• Actively develop and maintain strong working relationships with business partners and key stakeholders, to deliver business success aligned to AIB strategy.
• Ensure processes, procedures and controls are clearly documented and adhered to.
• Be a strong team player with the proven ability to work with others to accomplish common objectives.

What you Will Bring; 

• Relevant 3rd level qualification with 3+ years' experience within a similar area in banking 
• Strong credit skills desirable
• Clear and concise oral and written communication skills with an ability to produce and present high quality reports.
• Team player with an ability to multi task, prioritise and work to challenging deadlines
• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills, with strong attention to detail
