What is the role: 

 

AIB’s Talent Acquisition team is seeking an intern eager to begin their career in HR or Recruitment. The in-house Talent Acquisition team facilitates both internal and external recruitment through a direct sourcing approach, partnering with hiring managers across all business areas in both the ROI and UK to understand and meet talent needs. As a Talent Acquisition Intern, you will work alongside recruiters to support and coordinate the end-to-end hiring process. 

  

Key Accountabilities Include:  

 

  • Oversee the recruitment mailbox to ensure all email correspondence is efficiently directed in accordance with SLAs. 

  • Initiate and manage job requisitions within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS), including facilitating approval processes. 

  • Leverage internal databases and social media platforms for talent acquisition. 

  • Assess and screen CVs and application forms to identify qualified candidates. 

  • Support recruiters by providing concise shortlists of potential candidates to hiring managers.  

  • Coordinate and schedule interviews with candidates. 

  • Support with the On-Boarding of candidates into AIB. 
  • Represent the organization at job fairs and Early Careers events. 

  • Monitor the recruitment process and propose enhancements for greater efficiency and effectiveness. 

  • Contribute to ad hoc projects as required.
