- Lead and enable the design and delivery of integration services that support key business and risk outcomes.
- Guide the development of scalable, reliable solutions using modern service-based and event-driven architectures.
- Support the implementation of messaging and integration patterns that enable timely, secure data exchange.
What is the Role:
The role is positioned within the Risk Technology and Transformation team where we manage the Risk Function’s planning and provide oversight of the operations of Risk including People and Engagement, Risk Finances, Change, Risk systems and continuous improvement.
The Technical Enablement Specialist will play a key role to support the successful delivery of integration capabilities across our Risk and Compliance function. This role will act as a key enabler, ensuring the right services, technology and data connections are in place to support the business in making timely, informed decisions. As part of a multidisciplinary team, you’ll work with internal stakeholders and external partners to shape and coordinate the delivery of integration solutions — helping translate business needs into well-structured, scalable solutions.
Key accountabilities.
- Act as the central coordination point for integration delivery within the Risk and Compliance domain.
- Partner with internal stakeholders to understand integration needs and ensure alignment with wider business goals.
- Work with development teams (onshore and offshore) to ensure timely, secure, and scalable integration of data and services.
- Support the delivery of integration patterns such as APIs and event-driven services, ensuring they are fit for purpose and future-proofed.
- Promote best practices in delivery processes, including automated testing, release management, and quality assurance.
- Drive continuous improvement and team enablement — making it easier for teams to deliver at pace with confidence.
- Facilitate regular reviews to ensure integration components meet agreed standards for performance, security, and maintainability.
- Act as a trusted partner between business, technology, and external teams to reduce friction and unlock delivery potential.
What you Will Bring;
- 3+ years’ experience within a technical enablement or equivalent centric position working alongside multidisciplinary delivery teams.
- Strong appreciation for modern integration approaches (e.g., APIs, event-driven architecture), even if not hands-on.
- Proven track record of leading or enabling successful solution delivery across complex stakeholder environments.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills – you’ll be a connector across business and technical teams.
- Comfortable engaging with technical topics and translating them into business value or risk impacts.
- Experience in continuous improvement and delivery process optimisation is highly desirable.
