We currently have a requirement for a Head of Homes to drive, shape and deliver the Homes strategy in Dublin.
This will be a fast-paced role and will require a strong self-starter with passion and energy to drive business performance. The ideal candidate will need to have a flexible and agile mind-set in your approach to doing business and engaging with the market and colleagues.
Key accountabilities:
- Drive, shape, and deliver the Homes Strategy in the Region. Lead and develop a team of Homes Advisors to win Business within the Region.
- Grow the Homes business in line with the Homes strategy and deliver outstanding financial results.
- Drive efficiency and productivity in the delivery of business objectives, ensuring an optimised structure and the deployment of the Homes sales force to align with the opportunity in the Region, and utilise effective sales management skills.
- Actively promote and build understanding of the AIB Homes offering across all segments and sectors.
- Proactively grow the banks Homes Business through the development and maintenance of effective relationships with key external stakeholders and KBIs to support the maximisation of lead generation and harvesting of sales opportunities outside of AIB’s day-to-day channels.
- Be responsible for the delivery of all targets within business area (including commercial and cost targets, risk management metrics, people management metrics and customer experience scores).
- Have a ‘Customer First’ approach, actively seeking ways to deliver faster response times, minimal reworks and a “consistent & connected” customer experience.
- Lead and manage the oversight and management of Mortgage applications to ensure consistent credit quality across team and operation within SLAs. Ensure market leading conversion rates through active pipeline management from lead and application all the way through to drawdown and delivering on our customers’ dreams and ambitions.
- This role is part of the Fitness & Probity Regime and Individual Accountability Framework, which set out the specific requirements applicable.
What you will bring:
- Significant experience in the banking industry with an in-depth knowledge of the Homes business and competition in the local market.
- In depth understanding and demonstrable experience of finance and markets, policies and regulation, products and promotions, customer relationships and service delivery.
- Strong credit capability and ability to analyse complex lending applications and make informed recommendations.
- Experienced in leading, motivating and developing sales teams.
