What is the Role:

 

Customer Treasury Services (CTS) UK is responsible for the distribution of Foreign Exchange, Money Market, Trade Finance and Interest Rate Derivative products to our UK customers.  A Junior Forex and Interest Rate Dealer role has opened and we are looking for an energetic individual who can deliver a first class Treasury service to our internal and external customers.  We build trusted customer relationships through proactive engagement and help our customers to make value add decisions. 

 

 

 

Key accountabilities;

 

  • Executing customer trades by accurately interpreting and keying customer instructions, processing in a timely manner and adhering to procedure and regulation.
  • Delivery of the CTS customer treatment strategy to grow and maintain FX volumes and customer numbers across all business segments.
  • Utilise financial market knowledge to deliver a proactive service to our Customers.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships across a wide spectrum of key stakeholders to leverage growth opportunities and enable seamless product delivery.
  • Close collaboration with Corporate Banking RM teams to design and execute Interest Rate Hedging solutions.
  • Support team colleagues and be dynamic in ability to cover multiple roles as required.
  • Contributes to team objectives, driving performance and incremental improvement of our 1st line of defence risk framework.
  • Support a strong team culture consistent with AIB'S Values & Behaviours 
  • Supporting AIB’s strategic focus on putting customers first, Greening the Loan Book and Operational Efficiency.

 

 

What you Will Bring;

 

  • Minimum of 2 years treasury experience or 3 years financial markets experience.
  • Proven high quality customer focused individual.
  • Team player who is engaged and enthusiastic, with the ability to work on their own initiative and manage competing priorities.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Inquisitive mind and passion financial markets.
  • CISI Derivatives & Regulations exams or similar qualification an advantage

Technical Capabilities:

 

  • Financial Market and Product Knowledge – Experience of Forex and/or Interest Rate Derivatives
