Do you want to join a dynamic Corporate Banking team delivering strong growth across the UK?
- Corporate Banking is a key strategic focus for AIB UK, and an area with strong growth ambitions across our chosen sectors - Infrastructure, Commercial Real Estate, Healthcare and Education, Hotels & Leisure, Housing and Diversified Industries.
- We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join the Healthcare and Education Origination Team.
Key accountabilities:
- Support the origination and on-boarding of new to bank relationships within your chosen sector, to deliver significant well managed balance sheet growth primarily through syndicated and club deals.
- Role holders will be responsible for supporting the opportunities presented to drive new business activity from new to bank and existing customers.
- They will act as a professional representative of the Bank within their chosen sector ensuring the highest standards of integrity and professionalism are adhered to at all times, thereby enhancing the Bank’s image and growing it’s professional contact / introducer base.
- Ideally you will already have some expertise and knowledge of your chosen sector as well as exposure to large complex transactions and lending structures including club and syndicated deals.

What you Will Bring ;
- Credit/Lending experience with good analytical skills and attention to detail, experience in deal structuring (covenants and conditions), ideally in Corporate lending and preferably in the Healthcare/Education sector.
- Knowledge of financial statements and accounting.
- Financial modelling skills.
- Strong relationship building and management skills with proven ability at managing relationships with internal and external stakeholders of the bank
- Team player with demonstrated initiative and commercial acumen
