This role is being offered on a permanent, full-time basis with hybrid working (minimum 2 days per week in the office).

  • Corporate Banking is a key strategic focus for AIB UK, and an area with strong growth ambitions across our chosen sectors - Infrastructure, Commercial Real Estate, Housing, Healthcare & Education, Hotels & Leisure, and Diversified Industries.
  • We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join the Infrastructure Team.
  • We would very much like to hear from credit professionals with lending experience and interested in working in a dynamic and fast paced business.
  • We are seeking individuals with strong business and relationship management skills, all in accordance with the AIB behaviours. 

 

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Execute on a strategic plan for the sustainment and growth of the Infrastructure sector for Corporate Banking UK.
  • Implement the customer relationship strategy for corporate clients.
  • Develop and maintain a culture of high performance, strong customer focus and compliance that is reflective of the AIB Behaviours.
  • Implement 1st line of defence risk frameworks relevant to Corporate Banking UK.
  • Play a leading role in driving the Corporate Banking UK new business initiatives.
  • Provide leadership in respect of the retention and motivation of the people within Corporate Banking UK and that of the Infrastructure Team.

 

What you will bring:

  1. Credit assessment and credit management skills.
  2. Strong analytical skills together with an ability to think and act laterally and creatively.
  3. Strong relationship building and management skills with proven ability at management relationships with internal and external stakeholders of the Bank.
  4. Experience of managing motivating and developing team members to help create a strong and productive team environment.
  5. The ability to demonstrate drive, flexibility, and a willingness to continuously improve performance and deliver stretching goals.
