What is the Role:
Customer Financial Planning is a large and growing division of AIB and a key strategic area for development over the coming years. This is an opportunity to join a nationwide network of 120 advisors across AIB. The role requires the individual to potentially cover multiple branches in the geography.
The role holder is expected to have a strong understanding of all Financial Planning products and a moderate knowledge of other AIB product lines. The role holder will have a proven track record in building relationships both with customers and stakeholders to generate referrals and converting referrals to meetings.
Key Accountabilities:
- Deliver comprehensive and tailored financial advice to the Bank’s affluent customer base, addressing needs across Protection, Investment, Savings, and Pensions.
- Collaborate with regional and local leadership to support and drive the achievement of the Bank’s Customer Financial Planning objectives and financial performance targets.
- Develop and manage a portfolio of high-net-worth clients, focusing on asset growth and retention, while generating wealth income through bespoke financial planning solutions for both personal and business customers.
- Mentor and support key personnel within assigned Business Centres and Branches, enhancing their ability to identify and engage customers with financial planning needs.
- Cultivate strong, collaborative relationships with colleagues across various channels to ensure the effective positioning and integration of the Customer Financial Planning proposition
What you Will Bring.
- Fully Qualified Financial Advisor (QFA) certification.
- Ideally, the Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation or a willingness to obtain it upon appointment.
- Demonstrated expertise and deep knowledge of financial planning and the broader financial services landscape.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and digital tools relevant to financial planning
