The Customer & Strategic Affairs function is responsible for the way in which AIB communicates and engages with employees and with customers, investors and other stakeholders.

Our remit is to advance the Purpose, Strategy, Governance and Brand of AIB while continuing to build our Reputation. We are committed to providing a collaborative approach to delivering strategic corporate communication initiatives.

We are now starting out on a journey with a singular focus to meet the Homes needs of all our customers. A journey that will include our AIB, EBS and Haven brands.

As a function we are accountable for our Homes offering. While Mortgages are our core product, and indeed through all of your hard work we are now leaders in the market, we will expand our Homes offering to meet more of our customers' needs than we currently do right now.

Direct Banking is primarily based in 2 of our sites (Swords, Co Dublin & Naas, Co Kildare). We also have a team based in The Lab in Dundrum Shopping Centre, Dublin and a team of specialists based around various locations across the country.

Within Business Corporate, Institutional & Business Banking is an exciting business serving the Bank’s larger customers or customers requiring specific sector or product expertise.

You will work with our customers on some of their biggest financial decisions, helping to arrange innovative financing solutions and supporting their growth.

We make sense of data and insights. We specialise in identifying the ‘what’ and understanding the ‘why’ of data. As a purpose-built Centre of Excellence (CoE), we deliver insights to develop innovations that make things better for our customers and help the business grow.

The Finance team work to provide insightful information to inform decision making across AIB. In AIB Human Resources is the organizational function that deals with the people such as: recruiting, on-boarding, Learning & Development, workforce performance, absence management, benefits, employee & organisational change and reward. We advise senior staff about performance decisions on the people in the organization.

We ideate, develop, launch and maintain customer design led consumer lending propositions based on customers current and future needs We achieve this by bringing a future looking innovation lens to our consumer credit product portfolios.

This exciting area works in close partnership with other business areas to ensure AIB develops and maintains a suite of consumer credit products aligned to customer lifecycle needs. We manage the Consumer credit portfolio and Business performance to ensure appropriate diversification of risk management, risk adjusted returns on capital
