Human Resources
The team in HR works in partnership with the business to understand their goals and strategic objectives and takes accountability for delivering all people strategies and supports that delivery on our business objectives. There are many teams within HR that work collaboratively to recruit and retain the right talent in the organisation (including Recruitment; Performance Management; Learning and Development; Talent Management; Reward; Diversity and Inclusion).  The HR team also initiates, designs, and executes programs of change which enable the organisation to attract, develop, reward and retain its employees. 

Legal & Compliance
The Legal team provides pragmatic, commercial and customer-focused advice across the Bank in relation to: Retail; Corporate and Business Lending; Product Development; Treasury; Debt Restructuring and Reinforcement; Litigation; Corporate & Commercial Law; Employment Law and Procurement and Facilities. 

The Compliance team supports the Bank in conducting its business in accordance with the relevant laws, regulations and codes which apply to its regulated banking activities. The Compliance team work with the business across a number of areas including Conduct of Business, Fraud Prevention, Financial Crime, Data Protection, Regulatory Upstream, Compliance Risk Assessment and Monitoring.

Our people are key to delivering on our ambitions and the team is structured into 8 key divisions:  Central Finance; Business Partners; Financial Regulatory Management Accounting; Financial Information Management & Analytics; Capital and Liquidity; UK Finance; Investor Relations and Transformation and Cost Business Partners. We partner with our business, our regulator and each other. Working together we support the AIB ambition to become a bank that is at the heart of our customer's financial lives.

Group Internal Audit plays an essential role in challenging and influencing the business to ensure its control environment is robust to mitigate the risks the bank has to take to generate a return to our shareholders. We align ourselves as much as possible to AIB whilst always remaining objective and independent. We have an extensive number of stakeholders: Executive, Non-Executive and Regulatory.

Business Performance and Analytics
We focus on using innovative techniques and best in class tools to deliver proactive insights on areas for attention, identifying customer pain points and lost opportunities to drive optimum experience and outcomes.  We leverage the full power of analytics to generate new revenue streams as well as better customer experience. We deliver complex data analysis solutions to deliver high value, business relevant, analytical solutions to business areas of the Bank, as well as directly to customers.
