  • Are you interested in assisting the learning and development of next generation of bank lenders?

 

 

About the Role:

Tasked with delivery of highest levels of service to our borrowing business customer base (lending exposure <£10m), through delivery of lending products tailored to their needs, maintaining a robust monitoring and control environment across the portfolio and provide the highest standards of customer service.

 

 

Key Responsibilities Include:

 

  • Completing new money deals for personal and business customers operating across a broad range of sectors.
  • Engage directly with customers on their applications to develop understanding of their business and undertake financial analysis to make informed lending recommendations.
  • Support the management of the portfolio from a credit management and risk perspective, focusing on annual reviews, covenant monitoring, referrals and excess management.
  • Support the training and development of junior members of the team, with a focus on credit lending skills and report writing

 

 

What you will bring:

  • Proven track record in Business Customer relationship management experience
  • Proven Credit ability, with experience commensurate with the ability to critically assess and structure new lending applications
  • Ability to work either individually or as part of a team in order to execute a strategic plan which delivers and sustains growth, winning and retaining new and existing business customers
  • Ability to work flexibly across a variety of locations
  • Excellent communication skills, both in writing and verbally using a variety of methods (Word/Excel/Powerpoint)
