Application Security Domain Architect

Role Title: Application Security Domain Architect 

Location: AIB, Central Park, Leopardstown, Dublin 18

This role is being offered on a permanent basis.

We’re looking for someone who:

• Serve as a primary security contact for projects during the planning, analysis, and design phases. Provide security technology and process guidance for solution architects and the business. Monitor ongoing projects to verify that security components are built and deployed as originally designed. Assist in reviewing compliance with AIB’s Target Security Architecture and industry standards, internal policies, and procedures.
• Actively participate in the development and maintenance of Target Security Architecture in AIB and the associated roadmaps based on security, IT, and business strategy, available technology, and current/emerging threats.
• Demonstrate expertise in the OWASP top 10 and other industry resources such as Mitre Attack. Provide expert advice and guidance around Threat Modeling, authentication mechanisms, authorization procedures, auditing/logging, user administration, and access control.
• Improve the security posture of Bank systems by planning and designing the delivery of security within solutions hosted on-premise, on Cloud infrastructure, and mobile implementations. Collaborate with developers, system/network administrators, and other stakeholders to ensure correct design, development, and implementation of applications.
• Collaborate closely with Security Product owners to ensure our current product capabilities align with targets and receive feedback on products’ abilities to align with existing or new targets.
• Develop AIB project documentation, including Technical Requirements, Architecture Review Board artifacts, High-Level Design documents, and, when necessary, assist in procurement processes to aid the selection of products against Security requirements and targets.
• Engage with Senior stakeholders and represent Security at forums and community of practices.
