The Team

AIB Finance & Leasing (F&L) is the specialised Asset Finance business unit within AIB. As an established business unit within Distribution, F&L is focussed on retaining its position as the premier provider of asset finance to Personal, SME & Corporate customers.

A Vacancy now exists within the Vendor & Intermediary team

Asset Stocking Finance is a finance solution provided to Vehicle & Asset distributors, suppliers and Intermediaries to fund their stock.  The role is to provide operational support to our existing customer network, various relationship management teams across the bank and liaise with the wider F&L Mobile sales force to assist in on-boarding new customers. You will carrying out operational tasks through the Wholesale finance system including reviewing and approving assets for funding, daily & monthly reporting, ongoing control and monitoring. This is primarily a customer service & operational excellence focussed role with responsibility to efficiently deliver a strong customer experience with positive outcomes for our customers.

We’re looking for someone who will:

  • Day to day operational activities, including reviewing and approving assets added to the system for pay-out in a timely manner

Support F&L/RM’s in suitability of the proposition for the customers need

  • Preparing contracts and on-boarding new customers once credit approval is in place.
  • Provide Operational and management support by compiling regular monthly new business performance MI
  • Customer service & operational efficiency – Support customers by deliver quality customer experiences, maintaining excellent standards of customer service including appropriate turnaround times
  • Continually liaise with all key Internal & External stakeholders to meet all business, risk and reporting requirements.
  • Strong adherence to risk control and monitoring process and procedures

Please note: The Minimum Education requirements for entry to AIB is 5 passes in the Leaving Certificate (or equivalent), to include a pass in English and Maths. These must be achieved at either Ordinary or Honours Level. Confirmation of this will be sought if successful for the role.
