Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
- Assess and recommend allocated mortgage credit applications on a daily basis ensuring compliance with the prevailing Mortgage Lending Policies, processes and procedures.
- Ensure timely turnaround of assessment in line with the prevailing SLAs in place.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with all Haven Stakeholders, Intermediaries, Underwriters and Business Managers
- Develop and maintain strong customer service, result focus and compliance
- Focused and able to work to tight deadlines in a busy and demanding work environment
- Ability to be flexible and versatile in your role
Minimum Criteria for this role:
Shortlisted candidates will require:
- Previous experience in a credit assessment/underwriting role is essential.
- Previous experience of team work and dealing with customers is beneficial.
- QFA/APAs desirable or a commitment to undertake the relevant QFA/APA exams

- Strong analytical skills together with an ability to think and act laterally and creatively.
- An ability to work on own initiative and interact as part of a highly motivated team.
- Self-motivated individual who has a proven history of prioritising, planning and working well under pressure in order to meet deadlines.
- Excellent attention to detail
- An energetic and enthusiastic approach to all tasks
