AIB Private Banking is a successful and growing business within the AIB Capital Markets division. Private Banking provides specialist expertise and tailored solutions for High-Net-Worth individuals across banking and lending and in strategic partnership with our Goodbody subsidiary for investments, retirement, and succession planning. 

 

 About the Role:

 

The role advertised is for the Client Services Team/Branch Team who provide daily banking & payment services to our Private Banking customers. The successful candidate will play a key role in leading and coaching the Client Service Team with responsibility for overseeing daily operations and money transmission activities. The successful candidate will report into the Head of Client Services Private Banking  

 

 

Key Responsibilities Include:

 

  • Work as part of a team to deliver the daily banking requirements to our customers.
  • Lead and develop the Private Banking Client Service (Branch & Operations) team with management of the team’s daily workflow. Supervise team activity.
  • Ensure that the team processes all customer requests efficiently within the required output and Private Banking standards.
  • Be a leader in Customer Excellence, supervising a team to deliver an efficient and professional service to Private Banking customers through best -in-class service delivery and customer centric solutions.
  • Provide training and support to the Client Service Team and wider Private Banking.
  • Encourage the engagement and motivation of staff by providing honest, fair, and frequent feedback, which focuses on continuous improvement and the development of skills and competencies.
  • Support the Head of Client Services managing risks & operational responsibilities on the Client Service team through adherence to all compliance, operational procedures, and controls.

 

 

What you will bring:

 

  • Track record of delivering a consistent level of exceptional service to customers.
  • Experience working in branch banking or operations role or similar role. 
  • Strong attention to detail and strive for operational excellence.
  • An ability to work on own initiative and interact as part of a highly motivated team.
  • You are a positive team player, willing to support and develop direct reports and others across the team and contribute to the development of an engaging and motivated team.
  • APA in Savings & Investments or QFA (however if not fully qualified, a commitment to becoming fully accredited and qualified within 12-18 months)
