Summary of role:

Customer Treasury Services (CTS) is responsible for the distribution, design and sustainment of Treasury, Trade and Cash Management solutions. Enabling and working with AIB’s Distribution segments to deliver a comprehensive Treasury offering to clients in all territories.


The role holder will be responsible for the execution of the CTS business strategy across a number of Distribution business units in Ireland. These responsibilities include:

  • Delivery of a first class Treasury service to internal and external customers
  • Delivery of CTS customer retention, growth and revenue targets


The role is based in Molesworth Street, Dublin but success will require travel to meet customers and colleagues across Ireland.


Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities: 

  • In collaboration with the Head of CTS – Capital Markets Sales, implement the CTS business strategy for your area
  • Design a customer engagement strategy to ensure that AIB listens and understands the outcomes desired by our customers
  • Provide leadership, motivate and develop the skill sets of a team of technical specialists
  • Ensure ownership of key customer accounts is clear and multi-product relationships are established and maintained
  • Work with peers to develop an holistic proposition that meets the needs of our existing and target Business customers
  • Build a collaborative working relationship with Distribution areas’ Business Unit Heads and their teams, to include aligned retention and growth objectives
  • Build external brand awareness through engagement with key business introducers and industry bodies
  • Maintain a culture of high performance within CTS that is consistent with the Values and Core Behaviours of the Bank
  • Ensure that AIB adheres to all regulation impacting the sale of foreign exchange and interest rate products in Ireland
  • Maintain and contribute to the incremental improvement of our 1st line of defence risk framework

Does this sound like something that you want to be part of?


You will need to show us that you can/have:

  • 5 years of broad Treasury experience, including foreign exchange, interest rate derivatives and cash management products
  • 3 years of experience working in a sales environment developing deep customer relationships
  • Likely to have attained a 3rd level education
  • Hold APAs in Investments, Regulations and Loans or a commitment to their completion in an accelerated timeline
  • Evidence of building effective internal relationships across segments
