Summary of role

The Reporting & Insights team is a dynamic and highly motivated team which strives to make a real difference to the reporting of First line risk culture and drive better outcomes for our customers, staff and business. It provides risk reporting and insights to Retail SMT and key senior stakeholders on the Retail Banking risk profile and threat horizon.

A vacancy now exists for the role of First Line Risk Management Reporting support.  This is an exciting opportunity to support risk reporting activity, from beginning to end whilst building knowledge on risk and data disciplines, as well as knowledge of key processes in first line areas across Retail Banking.

 

 

Key Accountabilities Include:

  • Development & delivery of risk and insights dashboards for Retail business units and SMT.
  • Owns risk reporting data activity for Retail and the development of automated risk dashboards
  • Provides reporting of risk insight and learning from incident, events and from external risk
  • Completes the regulatory returns

 

 

We’re looking for someone who can:

  • Support the Delivery of risk and insights dashboards for Retail business units and SMT
  • Support the risk report planning & review completion for assigned business areas
  • Make decisions on the content of risk reports and escalates complex risk exceptions to the appropriate person.
  • Problem solve and follow established procedures and operate within defined risk / first line framework and methodology, under supervision.
  • Collaborate and operate across multiple business units, participate with colleagues in the team and support delivery of first line risk reporting work.
  • Influence-share information with colleagues and business units under review and explain any first line risk reporting exceptions to the business
  • Champion a Customer First culture in support of AIB’s Purpose, strategic ambition and Brand Values, by ensuring processes and procedures consistently promote good outcomes for all our customers.

  • A reporting, risk and/or data qualification/background preferable but not mandatory
  • Perform well as part of a highly engaged and motivated risk reporting team.
  • Review and interpret data to identify risk trends and where exceptions are determined to be systemic, escalate to business management to further investigation.
  • Build strong customer relationships
  • Communicate potential risk exceptions in a timely manner
  • Build and maintain a comprehensive knowledge of applicable risk frameworks and methodologies.
  • Good Working knowledge of MS Excel and MS Powerpoint
