GIA is now seeking applications from ambitious professionals who are keen to pursue an opportunity as a Lead Auditor.

 

 

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Lead and participate in audits, following our risk based methodology,  from beginning to end including definition of audit scope, test strategy, execution of testing, summary of issues and final report;      
  • Manage the resolution of agreed issues and exceptions with the business areas and stakeholders within agreed timetables;
  • Review and interpret processed data to identify trends and investigate exceptional items;
  • Communicate effectively with management and staff across the organisation by positively conveying the role and value of internal audit;
  • Assist in the preparation of the annual risk-based audit plan; and
  • Continuous adherence to and improvement of the Internal Audit process.

 

What you will bring:

 

  • For this role, there is a preference for professionally qualified candidates (ideally CIA, ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualification) or candidates undergoing these exams with financial services audit experience.
  • A minimum of three years in a financial services and/or audit environment;
  • Preference for people who have practical experience of providing assurance or who have a working knowledge of the key risks within financial services;
  • Knowledge of key regulations within the Financial Services industry; and
  • You’ll have lots of initiative, excellent attention to detail and ability to work to deadlines and remain calm under pressure.
