This role is being offered on a Full-Time Permanent basis.


Are you a looking to lead a high functioning HR Systems team and provide guidance on the best use of technology within the HR domain?


An opportunity has arisen for a HR Systems Manager to sit within the HR function and lead the HR systems landscape. The landscape currently includes SAP HCM/HR, Payroll, Successfactors (Aspire & Recruiting), Work Human and Nakisa and a number of related solutions. The Systems Manager will manage a team of 7 Business / Technical Analysts through a number of deliverables and provide guidance on best-practice when required.


We’re looking for someone who can:

  • Own and develop the HR Systems landscape to meet the priorities of the AIB’s people agenda;
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency while providing an excellent service to AIB’s workforce;
  • Create a HR Systems Roadmap to take AIB HR Systems from 2025 to 2035 and beyond;
  • Develop and manage collaborative business relationships with internal and external partners;
  • Lead and prioritise the efforts of the HR Systems team  - 7 business / technical analysts; and
  • Represent AIB HR Systems in a range of Regulatory, Financial, Risk, Audit and Procurement fora

You will need to show us that you have:

  • The experience to own the overall HR Systems Landscape and manage the interaction of the various applications;
  • Ability to prioritise multiple projects and Minor Change Requests (MCRs) as required by AIB stakeholders;
  • Expertise in SAP HR/HCM & Payroll or a similar solution set such as Workday or Oracle;
  • Managed a team of Business / Technical analysts through a range of projects and deliveries;
  • Knowledge of modern cloud based applications and how they fit into an existing on-premise landscape;
  • The vision to define a HR Systems Future Landscape based on the next generation of HR Technology;
  • Ability to work with Budgeting, Risk and Audit cycles.
