Summary of Role

Products, Retail has responsibility for our four core Product sets i.e. Mortgage, Personal & SME Credit, Current & Deposit Accounts, and Payments & Cards across all our brands (AIB/EBS/Haven/AIBGB). Products has a Group-wide remit and is a key enabler of customer centric propositions and supports the delivery of the bank’s Regulatory, Sustainment and Strategic agendas. A vacancy now exists in Products, for a Junior Business Analyst, on the AIB Mortgage Change team.

 

The Mortgage Change teams work hand in hand with the Mortgage Products teams to deliver Regulatory and Sustainment IT related change to the Mortgage Systems.

 

We’re looking for someone who can:

  • Deliver agreed prioritised change initiatives on the Mortgage Change Agenda which spans multiple systems and stakeholder communities. This may mean working on solo initiatives or alternatively driving / working as part of a team depending on the scale of the change involved
  • Support the Mortgage business model in delivering change (system and/or process change) in a robust and structured manner whilst adhering to relevant Group policies and processes and in particular those relating to Risk and Compliance. 
  • Influence the prioritisation of change initiatives, identifying  any  key dependencies which may impact the overall delivery and ensuring that these are accounted for and addressed in advance of  implementation
  • Anticipate and address problems, challenges and issues as they arise and escalate to appropriate project / programme leads when necessary
  • Delivery of a periodic change release plans for Mortgages in conjunction with the full change management team, IT and all other impacted stakeholders.  This includes all aspects of lifecycle planning from conceptual design through to solutions  delivery

 

You will need to show us that you have:

  • Excellent written and verbal communications with proven experience in influencing and managing stakeholder expectations
  • Detail oriented with good organisational skills
  • Self-starter with a passion for delivery who works off own initiative
  • Project experience involving Business and IT would be an advantage Experience in and a  practical understanding of  Agile change delivery method.
  • Mortgage process knowledge would be an advantage
