Summary of role:
EBS d.a.c. is a wholly owned subsidiary of AIB. AIB operates EBS as a standalone, separately branded subsidiary with its own distribution network. EBS has a countrywide network of 66 offices and a direct telephone based distribution division (EBS Direct). EBS also distributes mortgages through Haven Mortgages Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary, to independent mortgage intermediaries. EBS has integrated a number of its functions and activities within AIB group.
The Network Relations Support Specialist role involves working in a small Network Relations team who are responsible for the successful delivery of the day-to-day operations of the EBS office network.
We’re looking for someone who will:
- Support the delivery of EBS strategy & objectives in compliance with license requirements.
- Conduct two-way communications to ensure that relevant business messages are sent to appropriate audiences and feedback is actioned.
- Operate as a reliable source of information and support the business by answering and resolving situations.
- Demonstrate a comprehensive technical knowledge of all office operational procedures.
- Participate in projects to address specific issues and contributing to the definition of proposed solutions to support the EBS Business and improving the Customer Experience.
- Deal with requests, enquiries and issues and respond with appropriate solutions involving the relevant support areas where necessary.
- Support daily interactions with 3rd party suppliers ensuring the delivery of appropriate services to EBS.
- Ensure issues identified are properly addressed, rectified and understood and/or escalated in a timely manner.
- Identify gaps in key operational risk procedures for offices and make recommendations to reduce risks.

You will need to show us that you can have:
- Minimum of 3+ years' experience in banking or operational experience in a similar industry.
- Demonstrated ability to work with cross-functional teams with strong interpersonal skills and an ability to foster/manage relationships across multiple teams.
- Knowledge of EBS products, while not a pre-requisite, would be desirable.
