We’re looking for someone who will:

Define and drive the execution of the AIB Payment Product Strategy to deliver greatest value to AIB and to its customers:

  • Drive adoption of proven practices to build a ‘Customer 1st Design’ for all our Internal and External customer’s and continuous improvement activity
  • Design and implement service processes to create strong customer experiences

Lead enterprise wide cross-functional teams through customer experience and Payment Product improvement initiatives to deliver expected benefits against key customer objectives:

  • Gain in-depth understanding of priority customer journeys by engaging with all stakeholders.
  • Lead and facilitate cross-functional, collaborative, customer led workshops to identify customer pain points and possible solutions for specific customer journeys.

Align, lead, and influence strategic plans and investments across verticals and function to design and deliver differentiated customer experiences:

  • Strategically focussed making sound commercial decisions to drive commercial-customer impact
  • Quickly assimilate insight and use good judgement to prioritise deliverables

Manages and promotes company wide experience improvement mind-set and culture:

  • Engage with other AIB Product and Journey owners and supporting teams to build action plans to improve customer journeys and experience when using our Payment Products
  • Build a mechanism to track and monitor action plans across all customer journeys and enhancements, changes or launch of new Payment Products

Management and mentoring to a team of dedicated AIB Product Management Professionals:

  • Support the team in their continued professional development.

You will need to show us that you can/have:

  1. Strong knowledge and experience of Payments across all key sectors
  2. Track record in the development of strategy and implementation of strategic marketing initiatives or other consumer focused strategic initiatives
  3. High level of interpersonal skills, influencing skills and the ability to operate at the most senior levels in the organisation. i.e. influencing without authority and excellent communication skills (Verbal and Written)
  4. Systematic and organised approach to workload including effective prioritisation (ability to recognise what is important) and tolerance for ambiguity (e.g. ability to cope with rapidly developing situations

Please note: The Minimum Education requirements for entry to AIB is 5 passes in the Leaving Certificate (or equivalent), to include a pass in English and Maths. These must be achieved at either Ordinary or Honours Level. Confirmation of this will be sought if successful for the role.
