This role is being offered on a 23 month contract basis.

A 23 month contract opportunity exists at level 1 within the Marketing, Products and Stakeholder Engagement career family in the GI Team. The successful candidate will support the product team in maintaining a suite of high quality, competitively priced insurance products for our personal customers.

Investments & Protection (I&P) is a dynamic and diverse place to work within Consumer Banking at AIB. We are responsible for the Wealth management and General Insurance offerings across all our channels, brands (incl. EBS). General Insurance (GI) is a small and expert business team within I&P, managing the delivery of Home, Car and Travel insurance services to our personal customer base and generating Non-Interest Income for AIB.

Your next challenge:

MI Reporting

  • Compiling and Analysing regular and ad hoc Management Information for the GI management team and other key stakeholders
  • Identifying, supporting and delivering MI improvements
  • Reviewing and validating Third party data feeds

Operational Support

  • Dealing with requests and queries from third parties and internal stakeholders in an efficient and timely manner
  • Ensuring issues identified are properly addressed and rectified, or escalated appropriately.
  • Third party commission and client premium account reconciliations
  • Maintain and update General insurance Intranet site
  • Supporting Product managers in the day to day management of products and third party

You will need to show us that you can/have:

  • Strong analytical attitude to working with numbers
  • Demonstrate a high level of attention to detail and accuracy
  • Demonstrate the capacity to work on their own with self-discipline and motivation to plan own workload
  • Advanced level Microsoft Excel is a requirement
  • QFA or working towards
  • 6 months experience in a similar environment with a working knowledge of relevant software packages & IT systems would be an advantage.

 

Please note: The Minimum Education requirements for entry to AIB is 5 passes in the Leaving Certificate (or equivalent), to include a pass in English and Maths. These must be achieved at either Ordinary or Honours Level. Confirmation of this will be sought if successful for the role.
