Location: Central Park, Dublin 18 / Hybrid 2 days in office per week

Summary of role: 

This role presents an exciting and challenging opportunity to an experienced Senior Business Analyst / Business Support Specialist who wants to work in a dynamic workplace environment with a real opportunity to positively influence the direction and outcome of strategic initiatives, through best-in-class design thinking and practices.  


Business Platforms inspires and leads the transformation changes of the bank’s core capabilities across Core Banking, Credit, Homes, CIB, Treasury, Payments, Cards, and Open Banking / APIs. 


As a Senior Business Support Specialist, you will be an integral part of the team that supports the Head of Business Platforms in the execution of his role and will work the senior management team to oversee delivery of agreed key priorities.  


You will actively participate in and may take the lead in coordinating activities and key deliverables across other functions and other activities as the need arises within the office of Business Platforms but will have a specific focus on our Workforce including the monthly reporting requirements and will play a key role in the Agile Recruitment of our permanent workforce. 


You will be responsible for the delivery of administration services and support for the Head of Business Platforms and his wider senior Management Team. Conducts analysis and research on assigned activities. Implement enhance and ensure compliance and Governance to a range of processes which covers the management of Business Platforms as a function.   


We're looking for someone who:  

  • Manage the consistent delivery of reports, dashboards and data visualisations to stakeholders and perform data analysis insights and reporting on disparate data from structured & unstructured sources.
  • Engages with stakeholders to understand business challenge’s role in the analysis of Workforce Reporting and define/document changes of data presented to SMT
  • Has very strong communication skills and the ability to work with a diverse team and listen to and respect the views of colleagues, be confident in presenting and working with Senior managers and creates clear, concise, and organised communication materials. 
  • Supports a continuous improvement culture, making recommendations about potential process improvements to increase effectiveness. 
  • Identifies holistic solutions by ensuring that linkages between structure, people, process, and technology are made. 
  • Operates effectively, even when things are not certain, or the way forward is not clear.  Deals comfortably with the uncertainty of change.  
  • Takes ownership for completing goals, meeting required deadlines and is extremely detail oriented with good organisational skills. 
  • Experience working in an agile team environment, including providing the necessary coaching and support to junior team members. 
  • Has the ability to multitask, reprioritise and work under pressure with the appetite to get involved in extra projects as the need arises?

What you will bring:

  • 2+ years’ experience in a business insight centric role, with a high level of proficiency in Microsoft Office specifically Excel and PowerPoint and Power BI as related to business outcomes is required. 
  • Ability to work on own initiative and have a strong attention to detail, completing tasks to a very high degree of accuracy with the ability to adapt to changing priorities and varied decision-making scenarios. 
  • Strong analysis and problem-solving skills with ability to perform meaningful competitive analysis.  Detail oriented with good organisational skills.   
  • Have a proven track record of success in a support or administrative role. 
  • Have strong written and oral communications skills, with experience presenting to senior stakeholders.
